About Us

Kiss my Bean is made up of three old wacky women and one young one who
keeps us in line. Our story is simple, because we are old, we can’t remember how
we came up with the Kiss my Bean idea. The closest we can remember is: Pat is
a coffee roaster and when she would finish a batch of beans she would talk about
the beauty of the bean. We would laugh and began relating everything to the bean.
“The bean is so perfect; you just want to kiss it.”

As bean ideas grew we wanted to develop products that were fun, whimsical
and would make you smile. We are earth friendly using recycled paper, and are
committed to donating a portion of our profits to start a foundation that supports
causes in which we believe.

About the Artists

Roland Hawkins …the best way to describe Roland is to say he is a very talented
but modest artist. He remembers, even as a child, drawing whenever he had a
chance; but never thought his art was worthy of the praise he received. Roland
admits that many of his ideas and drawings come from not paying attention in
meetings and allowing his brain to guide his hands to the doodles that appear
on the page. He takes those doodles and makes them into his whimsical art.
Roland lives in Colorado with his wife Lori and son Emmett. A smile on your
face is his hope for the cards you receive or give.

Abby Kreuser is a fine arts photographer, (abigailkreusergallery.com) graduating
from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2003. Working with Kiss my Bean as
the print master is another side of Abby’s creativity; but the attention to detail
and parts of her personality show in each drawing. Abby’s work is displayed in homes,
offices restaurants and galleries throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.

Abby hopes the cards you give or receive remind you to enjoy your family and friends.
